I honestly believe that we all start our blog with the intentions of updating it frequently. There were days when I would log on just to admire the site I had created. Then came the posts every couple of days...then weeks and here I find myself just over one month since the last time I posted. I think it's also been a month since we used that slip and slide as well. Today I signed in and found that Emily Geyer had began to follow my blog so I clicked over to check hers out...something I used to do much more often and was encouraged (more like shamed :)) into making an effort to post more often.
I very much enjoy telling stories and have a unique way of doing so, but I have yet to see that translate over into the written format. Like all things, it probably takes a little practice, which if you grew up playing any sport with me, you'd know I have no time for these things. (Except gymnastics, which I loved to practice and was no good at...of course.)
Moving on. Here's a rundown of the next five (or possibly six) weeks (until I start school again). You'll see that my possible blog topics are not limited. It's just a matter of crafting an interesting story.
- Holiday World with three of my favorite fellas.
- Holiday World again with college buddies.
- Destin, FL with two awesome families. (yes, I finally landed that "take your nanny along babysitting gig".)
- The Queens of the Diamond (in our pretty in pink uniforms...there's a picture idea) playing in the state tournament in August and the WORLD SERIES in September.
- Flag Football in ATL (while possibly catching a pre-season Falcons game with the one and only
AshMill.)
- And my final year of school begins. With me teaching middle and high schoolers. Which maybe just maybe scares me a little. I mean what if they don't listen to me. Or one wants to hit me in the face.
